Tangerine and Carrot Juice


Gourmet pursuits do not need to be complicated, lengthy and expensive endeavours. Often you will find that  a combination of simple things can turn out to be quite exciting! And when I say simple, I do not mean bland and boring!

Here is why a simple combination of tangerine and carrot juice is a gourmet pursuit:

It’s fresh, (and it’s orange!),  has no added sugar, it’s high in fibre, and provides lots of vitamin A, K and C along with a wide range of antioxidants. It tastes delicious – the undertone is the carrot’s flavour, while the sweet tangy zest is the aftertaste.  A 100 ml serving contains only 36 calories and 6.7 grams of natural sugars. An absolute winner!

For a quick fresh cocktail, add some lime juice and ginger zest, pour over ice in a tall glass and decorate with an orange slice!
